mixtures of rainbow colors. Gekko Kamen values life but surely knows how to punish his enemies. He is not at all a violent guy, most of his enemies die at the hands of a more powerful nemesis who has decided they have failed to destroy Gekko Kamen. The anime never shows how Iguai turns into Gekko Kamen but he seems to do it very fast but like all series with masked characters their true identity is never revealed.

Detective Iguai owns a private investigation agency were he spends most of his time helping those who seek his services. He has some assistants to help him with the agency in order for him to go out and fight evil. His link to information comes from Inspector Matsuda who works in the police force in Tokyo I suppose. Iguai is a nice guy who helps everyone he can and wants nothing in exchange except for money I guess. I don't any other background info about him nor anything is implied about his past or how he became Gekko Kamen. Thru his adventures he has kept his secret as Gekko Kamen but I think one time the Dragon almost found out who Gekko Kamen was.
 
 

Shigeru is an orphan who works for the Iguai Detective Agency he delivers messages and things like that. He always wants to fight but he is really only a kid  who seems to always get in trouble. As far as I remember he has always been in the series. Shigeru is far more mature character that Chiro in Mazinger Z but both have some problems indeed.
 

Goroachi the "baby sitter" in the agency, he seems to do all the important work like answering the calls and taking care of customers. Iguai trusts him but Goroachi is irresponsible sometimes. He is a character with a sense of humor and most of the time the comic relief of the series.
 
 
 
 

Fujiko is another orphan who was taken care of by Iguai. She was the daughter of a rich prince from the middle east and a japanese mother. On the Satan Claw episodes she appeared for the first time. The Bat was after her since she had the keys Satan's Claw was seeking. She called Shigeru and had Goroachi pick her up in Osaka and of course the Bat's men were after her and so was Iguai dressed as an old suspicious man. Her personality really helps the agency she is always positive and is best friends with Shigeru.
 
 
 
 

This is inspector Matsuda who is close friends with Iguai and also assists him with information due to his job with the police force. A man of few words and some appearances. He can also fight the evil guys but that has happened a few times only. His main role in the series is to inform Iguai of murders and crimes.
 
 
 
 
 

Professor Yamawaki as far as I recall works at a University and is always helping Iguai. His greatest roles were in the Dr. Dogma episodes were he took care of King Kong and built robot Justice. We don't know much of him either but he seems to be a smart and gentle person.
 
 
 
 
 
 

An enormous ape who comes from an island, he only appeared in the Dr. Dogma episodes. He was abducted by Dogma's henchmen in order to be transformed into a killing machine. Dogma was successful but Prof. Yamawaki was able to stop his plans by building robot Justice and using little kong's presence.

Little Kong is the son of King Kong, he seems to take refugee with Iguai. He is a pesky character in the series but I guess he helps the plot for his father to be appeased when in control of Dogma.
